By contact or through eating the same food. BY contact I mean if someone throws up or goes to the bathroom and either you come in contact with it in the bathroom or through them not washing their hands, maybe preparing your food, then you can catch it.

I know this is gross, but NOT WASHING HANDS. If one prepares food after using the toilet and not thoroughly washing one's hands, there is a great risk of contamination by stomach and colon borne bacteria.
