    Yes, they do. According to one site I found
    Ants hibernate during cold seasons like winter. They survive on the food stores they have gathered in the summer months.www.antcam.com/info/faq/5.3.html
    Of course, this would only be in areas which have distinct cold seasons. The ants in the tropics would not hibernate, however they might move to higher ground during the rainy season.
