He was a hero to the world for the way he helped those people over there, not because he was the first. I really honored that man.

Yes, the whole world respected him. And not just for climbing Mt Everest.

Quite the guy. Larger than life, really. Too bad to lose him, but he certainly packed a lot into his time here.
