  • Based on what I found here (http://www.lenntech.com/Periodic-chart-elements/be-en.htm), I would have say no. According to that page, beryllium is resistant to oxidation at standard temperatures and pressures. A change in color would indicate that a chemical reaction has taken place. Since beryllium is resistant to oxidation (the reaction that would take place if it were exposed to oxygen), I doubt that it will change color.
