In Answerbag many times I see very intelligent questions, although I know from time to time something odd will show up, but at the same times I've seen questions that seem odd, and did have some good sense.

The standard chat room questions are a lot more personal than what is asked on AB. They usually indicate that a questioner wants to know personal details about the answerer's background. AB questions are more general and most of them are concerned with universal topics that anybody can answer unless they are in a narrower fields such as the sciences, the humanities, or technology.
