It's not the age. It's the size. You'll know when you can't shop in there anymore! If you don't, well...at least everyone else will know!
-
I don't think there is a specific age. When the items don't fit you or you decide they are inappropriate for you, move on.
-
When you graduate from high school. You're a big girl now!

I think that would be more of a "size" thing, but I know what you mean. Some clothes ARE geared for the younger set, (glittery things, the latest tv shows, "mini" anything....), but I'd say about 30, or 'the age of crows feet'!

I say go you!! if you can still fit into a juniors after 40 sign me up for your diet!! : ) Stay youngly dressed as long as the size fits !!
-
The age of reason.

I was shopping in the junior's dept in my 30's, and as soon as I lose these last few lbs, I'm going to be shopping there again! Who cares how old you are? Wear what you like!
-
I think you should stop shopping there when it doesn't fit anymore.
-
I'm in my 50's and I still buy most of my jeans in the juniors dept - it's the low-rise fit that I like
-
I actually hate that there is a term "juniors dept." I'm almost 30 and I prefer how juniors clothing fits my curves and length. I just tend to stay away from the juvenile patterns and logos on the butt type items. But anyway, I googled this topic because I was curious myself and I see that there are others out there who shop in juniors too who are a bit past the teen years:)

When you no longer fit in Junior Department clothes. By the same token, as you age, you want a more mature look, at least for certain circumstances. If they have them in Jr and you fit, great. Otherwise... ;-)
-
Depends on how they fit. While Juniors clothes tend to be designed to look a bit young, the main difference is in the cut and the fit. Juniors clothes are designed for teenage girls whose hips haven't fully developed yet. As a guy, that works better for me because I don't have any hips in the first place, so those skirts fit me better.
