  • hmmm.. .ya lost me with that one. I make earrings regularly, but I don't know what "gauged earrings" are. I'm curious. I that must answer your question. If I don't don't what gauged earrings are, I probably haven't made them.
  • I've used a straw once as a plug but if you want it tappered u can cut one side of the straw and twist it where you cut it till it has a point.
  • Had an ex b/f that loved marker tops pens, pencils cork screw anything i guess not really "made" but that wasn't their intentional purpose
  • Really all you can use to make large size plugs or jewelry safely is wood, unless you know glass blowing or metal working. Household items are a really bad idea, and fimo and other clays have chemicals in them that you shouldn't let sit next to your skin. But it's really easy to customize cheap plugs with paint, stickers, and stuff like that, as long as you keep the wearable surface clear. You can use clay, resins, and other things inside tunnels as well. If you need a larger size than what you have, wrap the smaller jewelry in teflon tape to get the size you want.

  • im at 0g and i figured out pens fit perfectly, so i took the end of a pen and cut it into a small [about a cm] piece to make a eraring that looks like a tunnel they look pretty cool
  • i have 1 1/8 gauge.i just go to home depot and buy pvc pipe.its like a giant pen tube.and since the size is so big i do organic stuff like flowers ect.fill it with acrylic(you can get from any arts and crafts store)and i have a gauge.but depending on your size they dont carry every gauge size in pvc pipe.
