The Honda Asimo robot I think is the most advanced at the moment. Though I'm sure they've got some out of the public eye that are pretty amazing. http://world.honda.com/ASIMO/

There is no one robot that is the most advanced. there are several Asimo from japan is one that is an advanced in humanlike movement but the lifelike robots at a us university have expressions and humanoid charactersitics that are amazing and a bit ahead of japanese humanoids, though the Japanese Asimo is the most advanced humanoid anatomy duplicater in body function. I still say the US robots are ahead in humanoid heads and expression.I Expect clever Germany to be the next player in this field
