  • If you have cash, the number is probably only limited by the amount of money you have. However, Lender's aren't overly fond of Condo Conversions, and many will not lend on such properties. In any case, most Lender's will restrict you to one owner-occupied unit. Some Lender's (few) will allow you to purchase one with them, and no more than 10% of the total units available with all Lender's willing to finance. My advice is to go to a reputable Mortgage Broker or Mortgage Banker. They usually arrange loans with MANY sources, so at least for you, it will be a one-stop shop and they will do all the leg-work.
  • All of them if you pay cash.
