  • Much like answer bag, there is a community atmosphere. There are mini games, each allowing for a daily gain of knuggs, (also known as $.) This $ is used to enter play in the arena. Each player picks 5 cards with various attacks, speed, and defence. Tourney's are held regularly for those that like that sort of thing. and my favorite part .. the message boards. ... But not all our posts have to be formed into a question.
  • As the warden stated, SD is an online community like AB. We have all come here after being directed here by a message where our website used to be, and arriving here saw "questions" and the rest is history. Our Incursion on AB was an attempt to flood Demand with our presence and try to get answers as to the status of our site. We have all been together for a long time and although SD was originally intened to be a kids game (with flash graphix) it lost its inteneded audience and "The Parents" of that audience (And others in a slightly higher age bracket than the teens)picked it up and ran with it as the game and arcade were great time wasters at first. Over time we bonded in many ways and friendships begin to develop, which has kept us together in spite of the lack of updates and the site getting bounced around from owner to owner.
  • Just a quick note that it appears the entire SuperDudes community is being forwarded to AnswerBag.com. --- SuperDudes.net displays only one message: "THE WEB SITE WILL BE OFFLINE FOR SEVERAL DAYS WHILE WE MOVE TO NEW SERVERS AT _DEMAND MEDIA_ -" The only thing available to click on, "Demand Media", leads to their contact page: http://www.demandmedia.com/contactus.asp Here, the only link that looks useful is "Questions?" which goes to a funky version of AnswerBag. http://demandmedia.answerbag.com/ Sorry to hear about the troubles, but we've got a boat-load of refugees who could use some help!
  • I was a former member of the Superdudes community up until 2005. I recently tried to sign up again but i kept getting an "Alert: Connection to server failed" message. Can anyone help me? Is this due to the server change? Is that still happening or is there a problem with the website itself?
  • Thank you csimme01. I appreciate it. I look forward to hearing from you.
  • I did try that..thats what's been giving me "Alert: Connection with server failed." It could be that the Sign Up feature is still down. I will keep checking for updates on this page. Thank you so much for your assistance in regards to this.
  • Thanks csimme01 it worked!! Feels good to see Superdudes again. Appreciate your help!
  • Lol...ahh i hate doing this but i need help in just one more thing. To post on the superdudes forums...an email verification is required which i didnt get. Now they have a link to send another request for verification but it takes me to the Supernater (the place where you make your hero basically). Was wondering if there was a way around that? I can talk directly to Dirty Warden if thats ok with him/her. Let me know..Thank you once again.
  • It's asking for a confirmation when i try to reply with a comment. Anyway, It worked...the Supernater opening up was a bug again. I received the email. Thanks again!
  • Thanks..haha. You should join SD...it's involving :)
  • Superdudes is the original online community before My Space - built on the premise that we are all born Super, and together we can save the world. With online games, and actual community volunteerism, the super group grew from my garage to 1.5 million users. The company was powerful - actually making a difference, as were visiting inner-city schools, children's hospitals, and working with several charities. Superdudes was sold against the will of the original founders and is now owned by Demand Media. We have been trying to reacquire it, as it is obvious that they do not care enough about it to keep the site maintained, and communicate with the members. Please contact Richard Rosenblatt @ Demand Media and request that the site be handed back over to the original Superdudes, so we can continue the mission together that this world needs right now. http://www.demandmedia.com/demand-media-executives.asp Synapse Dream
  • I agree i apid for the service as wel, and for the longest it was not changed then , when now the site is gone, gone i tell you.. this company or whom ever has it needs to come up with answers, and fast, cause i dont want to talk or given a number to call, cause we are not the biggest website, we love what we have and shelled our hard earned cash for it. So did we get screwed over and told nothing?????
