Short answer... No. According to BC Law, you have not reached the age of majority (which is 19 here) and therefore cannot enter into binding contracts. What this means is that even if you left home, you couldn't sign a lease for an apartment without your parents signature as well. You couldn't borrow money from the bank without a co-signer. Now for the long answer... You can get around all of the above by petitioning the court to grant you adult status. It's a long and costly procedure and usually doesn't work out in favour of the child. But it has been successful in some atypical cases. Hope this helps.
