It has been my experience that it is normal for a baby's appetite to change from day to day just like it is normal for adults. The important thing is not how much he is drinking but is he growing normally. If his height and weight are proportional (meaning his weight is normal for his height) he should be fine. If you are still concerned you can make an appt. with the doctor.

Don't worry my baby is 14 weeks old and does the same thing. I always offer her more and even burp her but 3-4 ounces is all she will eat. My doctor said that it is totally normal. She is a thriving happy baby she just doesn't have a big appetite like other babies. She is also only in the 10 percentile for her weight. She is just a tiny peanut. Hope this helps.

same as my baby. he is 3 mth old and drinking 4 ounce every 3 hour and always leave 1 ounce. but he seems healthy and active :)

My babies were taking 5-6 oz at that age... but every baby is different. As long as he's growing, I wouldn't worry about it.

Dont worry it. The baby is fine. My baby is 4 months and eats 5 ounces and she doesnt finish it all the time... as long as he is happy and healthy that all that matters. Believe me he will let you know if he is hungry.
