if there are some people near who want silence for a while then it could be other than that, I don't think so I love high volume too. It does piss dad off so I do it when he's not around
It's better to have the source louder and not have the amp all the way. You want as little distortion.
Generally you don't max an amp's gain because that causes distortion and clipping, which is death for your speakers.
Well, it's not bad per se, but it is going to shorten the life of your speaker by quite a bit.
why is it taken"-3db" in cc or ce amplifier semilog graph to find bandwidth????????

I don't know about that. Any speaker or headphone might wear out if the volume is high most of the time everyday or maybe it won't. But the headphone may damage the ear drums...
