Do you dislike when you ask a question between two answers(yes or no) and people say "It depends"?

No, if I did than I'd be limiting myself. Generally yes or no questions are designed not to get the right answer, but rather to get the answer the asker wants.

Not if it really does depend on the situation.

What I really don't like are "it depends" answers without an accompanying elaboration.

seems most of the yes or no questions really cant be answered with a simple yes or no---just my thoughts-smile and enjoy the night--cool question

I read a lot of question on AB, that are open ended and subject to interpretation, even when the questioner request a yes or no. Life is usually not the simple.
