  • Space Needle, Grand Canyon, New York, Cali.
  • I'd recommend going to NYC, Los Angelos, Chicago and Florida.
  • If you are planning to travel to the US from abroad, it is a going to be tricky to take the whole thing in. New York City is an amazing city with great culture. Boston, in the same region, is another interesting city with lots of history to it. South Florida, a city like Miami, is very different - but very fun. Just a short drive is Orlando, where all the theme parks are. The west coast of the US is also very nice, cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco (even Las Vegas) - but it isn't super easy to get there if you only have a week or two. I would personally choose to tour the east coast if you had a week, but I am also biased.
  • I am from NY. But the best place I have been in the US is San Diego, CA. It is beautiful and friendly.
  • Washington DC. There's no city like it in the world.
  • If you want to see cities then go to NYC, Boston, Chicago, San Franciso and Seattle If you prefer nature type places, then I recommend Yellowstone National Park, the Grand Canyon, Redwood National Forest or Muir Woods and the surrounding coastal areas...you really can't go wrong with any of the National Parks. Some of my favorite smaller places have been Charleston, South Carolina; Bar Harbor, Maine; Monterrey, California; any number of places in Michigan on one of the Great Lakes; San Antonio, Texas (which isn't really small); and Ashville, North Carolina.
