It's great when people do promptly answer, but sometimes it depends on the question. If it is an opinion question, then I expect people would answer rather quickly. But if it is a knowledge question then I know it can take a while because whoever is on here now might not know the answer to the question.

At least a couple. If they're helpful. I hate it when people answer "I don't know". Well then thanks for answering Professor. That's why I don' ask a lot of questions.

yeah i do. I've asked a few questions that dont get many answers...it sucks, lol. I guess no one does know who envented the KING sized candy bar after all. LMAO

I don't 'expect' one, but I do like to get prompt responses. It really depends on the nature of the question though...

On here? No because I realise people are from all over the world and will be on here different times to me. It's always nice if I do receive a prompt reply though. In real life though, if someone is in my presence and I ask them something, I do expect an answer. Oftentimes, I have to nudge my husband, "You did hear what I just said, didn't you?" because his silence has been far too long. And that is so annoying! Grrr.

I do not expect anything. A question could never be answered or get one or more answers that wouldn't really address the question. I noticed that the majority of the questions get an answer sooner or later. Most questions that have not been answered could still be answered (some would not make sense to answer).
