By the time a performer is seen making the rounds of the State Fairs, you can pretty much say he's near the end of his career. Mr Y is at that point. He is sort of like vaudeville in the 1940's, great in its time, but now obsolete.

I'm not sure what his 'rating' is, so it's difficult to say whether he is overrated or not. Some of his stuff is lame, but when he gets it right, he can be flat out hilarious... . . .
