  • They should be doing both.
  • Yes i think it wou;d. People are too paraniod nowadays when my dad was a kid peanuts whre'nt banned from schools if you where allergic you just stay away from peanuts and in the 50's you'd bring your rifle to school your principal would take you out to the trunk of his car and show you his people are way too freakin paranoid
  • I think if parents stopped their kids watching so much TV and playing video games and actually talked to their kids the world would be a better place.
  • no.parents know best, your time is coming, you will soon find out.
  • I don't think the two are mutually exclusive. I think a good parent should be involved in all aspects of their kid's lives. A parent who is unaware and oblivious about one aspect of their children's day to day existence is most definitely oblivious to many more.
  • To spend more time on "what was going on in their childrens lives" IS spending time worrying about their TV habits, by definition.. When a parent really cares, they will be very worried about TV watching. The world would definitely if parents spent more time with their children.
  • i honestly thought that the two went hand in hand because kids watch so much tv today and that is considered a part of their lives - but i think they should monitor videogames, music and not all psycho strict -[it says crap i forbid it rawr] but just like - hey you're too young to watch that...
  • I think that what kids watch on TV is part of what is going on in their children's lives. I think that maybe if kids didn't watch TV and didn't play video games and interacted with their parents they all would benifit.
