  • Ladies used to be very cautious and polite drivers. This means no burnouts, high revs, hard corners...you get the idea. This has changed a lot now (take a look for yourself) but the term carries with it the same meanings. It's supposed to be a sort of hint that there aren't any parts worn out, etc.
  • "Lady driven" means the car was DRIVEN in a LADY way. It has a lot of scratches, parking damage, the gear will be probably gone and clutch will need replacement. The seller wants discreetly tell you why he sells it for such a low price, so you won't expect perfect car when you will come to see it.
  • In my eyes that means only a lady has driven the car. I'm a lady and I live in TN so I would stay away from buying a lady driven car.
  • If this question were in the "Relationship" section, then the term would be a polite alternative to "hen pecked".... A "lady driven" car will have the obligatory dented trunk lid from her backing into things, the rear-view mirror will be loose/wobbly because she's been wrenching it every which way while putting on her makeup, and there will be two quarts less oil in the crankcase than what there should be.
