- In our house when we called someone a baleboosteh, it meant they were a good homemaker and housekeeper. Like my grandmother. But thanks for the compliment. And we pretty much use schmuck these days for your garden variety idiots rather than their garden variety weiners;)

- Yeah, but technically if you're calling you husband and/or children that, you're calling them a jewel(hence the term family jewels). As for the other word, I meant parise worthy woman in charge.

I love the way my wife looks with no makeup. She only wears it occasionally. Some women seem to need it more than others. But it could just be what I'm used to - if I was used to seeing someone in makeup all the time, then I might be surprised when I saw her without it.
