If your Dr hasn't had anything to say about it then I suggest that you get a second opinion. You can also start a regimen of herbs that help build his immune system naturally.

No, it definately is not normal. I ran fever that high and i had an infection in my blood that got to my heart valve. You should get him into a specialist and try to get some other opinions. This can be serious and you should take just as that. I faught for my life for 5 months......I will Pray for you and your family...

the symptoms also sound like primary complex (child tuberculosis). children are very susceptible to this especially when exposed to an infected adult. they can get it easily from an infected person coughing in proximity. if you havent gotten any answers by now maybe good to suggest a tb test when you go to a doctor next time? and yes, probably better to go to another doctor... good luck... since you posted a while back i hope that things are okay now...

Wow! Have you ever heard of Periodic Fever Syndrome? I am taking my son to the doctor tomorrow to find out if he might have Periodic Fever Syndrome. There are a few types of this condition. From the tiny bit you have written about your son, I really wonder if he might have some type of Periodic Fever Syndrome. Are they giving him one months worth of antibiotics?? I hope not, that is A LOT of antibiotics... Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks for replying!!

I am having the same problem. My 4yr old is a big boy in the 90+ percent dials for both height and weight- he also seems to get fevers every couple of months. Most of the time they are 102 - 104. About a yr and a half ago he was at 105.2 and they did extra testing that time and still came up with nothing. I get the same thing, give him the meds and he'll be fine. I wish I could get an answer too. Please let me know if you hear something. Mine is sick right now- at the doc last night- same old story. K-
