How do I reset the "Service Due" reading on my 2005 Acura TL. The shop I now deal with does not know.

I would find a new shop. That should be the first thing they know how to fix. If they can't fix that I wouldn't trust them with the big stuff.

I dont know how to set yours but I used to own a clapped out BMW and sevice due could only be set electronically I got around it by taking the light bulb out, it was out of warranty and I done my own servicing anyway :o)

Turn the Ignition on. Use the < or > buttons untill the oil life is displayed. Press and hold the select/ reset button for 10 seconds or untill the display asks for confirmation. release and press the selsct/reset button again to confirm.

Reset MID as follows: 1. Turn ignition switch to ON 2. Press the < or > button repeatedly until the oil life is displayed. 3. Press and hold the Select/Reset button for 10 sec. The MID will ask for confirmation. +If you are sure you want to reset the display, press the Select/Reset button to select "OK". + If you do not want to reset the display, press the < or > button to select "Cancel".
