A Nettie Pot can do wonders for the nose and throat! It's like a little tea pot made for the nose, you put lukewarm salt water in it. I know lots of other people that swear by it! This old time concoction works well for me: The juice of a lemon a spoonful of honey a shot of whiskey Put this in a big mug and fill it the rest of the way with boiling water (or put it in the microwave.) Just a spoonful of honey held in the back of the throat is good because it has a sterilizing property and is soothing too. The Thera-flu stuff isn't bad either. Hope you are well soon!

Day-quill works great! I take that and Theraful but if you do therful make sure its the drink mix. The pills don't really work. Feel better!

Personally, every spring/summer I'd get the sniffles, watering puffy eyes and a throat of sandpaper. Couldn't go anywhere without at least two handkerchiefs or a pocket of tissues. I took a a course of Horseradish, garlic and vitamin C tablets on the offchance that it would help. For the first two weeks there was no change, but by week three I was down to one handkerchief and in a month I was cleared up and dry. Even today, about three years after, I'm regularly taking HGvC pills, and I cop a runny nose only about two days in the year.
