You know how AB opens extra windows? How can I do that on purpose on other sites, so that I am not stuck staring at the screen waiting for a download?

Hold down shift while you click on links.

On a PC: Ctrl+N On a Mac: Apple+N Or, you can right click on a link in a page and click "Open in New Window" or "Open In New Tab"

Shift-click (or command-click in Mac) on a link to open a new window or tab. This is actually something that drives me crazy on Answerbag, that they the window open automatically. I am capable of making that decision myself, thank you very much, it makes me crazy that I have 100 windows/tabs popping open all the time when I use AB.

<ctrl> n opens a new window <ctrl> <tab> opens a new tab (assuming you are using I.E. 7 or higher)
