Many production companies have open call for extras & some will take as many as they can get. I see advertisements for it all the time

Call local talent agencies.Contact internet sources showing the shooting schedules of movies in cities.You will need head shots for agencies to hand out.The pay is about $100 a day for 12+ hours,with catering all day with 2 good meals.I have worked as a set decorator for many years and have talked to many extras,and have approached talent agencies myself.
