My vision is really bad, if I'm wearing glasses I always wear them unless I'm sleeping or reading in bed.

I am so blind, and have been wearing glasses so long, I feel naked without them. I can imagine what it would be like at the dinner table sitting across from squint, squint all night. Very distracting. I'd probably stick a fork in my bread instead of my potato, and don't even let me think about using a knife when I can't see. I have to use two pair of glasses when I do the computer, a magnifying lens on top of my regular 1/4 inch thick glasses, and the page type set to very large. I usually get about 1/4 of each page on my screen at one time, and have to scroll across to read everything.

if i take off my glasses then i would not be able to see what im eating! Im totally dependant on them, i would hate to think of the consqences if i wee to take them off whilst eating!!

I don't, but my BF does. I have sometimes asked him why, but he can't explain. To me, it seems like an old person's habit -- I can explain that either!
