Oh no, I certainly would not unless they wanted to commit a death rampage then I most certainly would stop the perp from committing another heinous atrocity.

yeah, i would try to stop them. I think it would be better if they went to trial for all their murders and went to prison and suffered in jail rather than try to chicken shit their way out of it

Regardless if they are a serial killer or not does a person have a right to kill themselves? That can be argued forever in and of itself. But then the issue of them being a serial killer has to be taken into account separately. Is suicide in this case any thing more then a self imposed death penalty. Many would argue that the death penalty would be suitable in the case of a death penalty, as they obviously felt no remorse then letting them live would be no penalty. Of course this gets into the ethics of the death penalty. This is a tricky issue, I will have think it over more.

No. I'm a firm believer that if someone wants to die they should be allowed to. What right have I to stop them?

(because i'm out of cereal so i'll just take his after he is gone) to be honest i would probably help the scumbag i'm tired of wasting my tax dollars on scum like this feeding giving him medical attention and a roof over his head, look at the people he has killed they have a roof over their head now dont they? i myself think there should be a whole new show on 60 minutes called executions made public just maybe a few of theese career criminals would wake up then.

Yes I would stop them. Suicide watch in prison, and minimal requirments for the rest of their lives. No easy way out for the evil they have inflicted on others. They need to be "PUNISHED" severely for their crimes for the rest of thier natural lives.

I would stop them!! To get them a proper verdict and watch them die under "death penalty" law... they deserve it... suicide is a much EASY way out for those people...

I am assuming you mean that I knew them so I am safe at the moment? I would try and stop them. If I did not and I was able to, there is a human (barely, but still human) life on my hands. They need to rot in jail for a few decades and death is too easy.

yes. i would stop them. a man whos job or addiction is killing. a passion of his interst. for him or HER to kill themselves shows great depression and stress. and depression and stress does not have a judgin characther. it all consists of emotional feelings of sadness. and we all know sadness sucks. yeah yeah yeah that person killed a billion people. but if he/she wanted to kill him or herself.. isnt that enough justice?? the guilt? isn't that enough revenge.. because death is.. just death. BUT IF THEY KEEP ON KILLING PEOPLE AGIAN THEN I WOULD SUGGEST TO GO SHOOT THEMSELVES LOL

IF I "knew" they were a serial killer; they would be locked up , anyway .... However; IF by chance they were out ; I'd let them take their life as I believe that would be the best for society ...

nope... just like I would not stop anyone else. if someone wishes to die then the yare welcome to it, wether they are a benefit or debtriment to society is mierly a side aspect. if they only killed executives and corrupt politicians I would beg them not to kill themselfes until they were caught

Well, if i knew a serial killer personally i might not be all that touchy feely now would I? What could i say? You have so much to live for? What about the people you're going to leave behind? No..I have a hunch if i was pals with a serial killer hell bent on committing suicide I would be saying, well, shithead.. what do you want from me? It isn't exactly like you're Mother Theresa now is it? But think about it.. You have SO much to live for in maximum security! On the other hand.. Maximum security is no life and doesn't bring back their victims. It really does nothing for society except cost tons of money so i might hand him/her the bullets and walk slowwwly away on my way to the nearest phone to drop a dime (50 cents now days)
