Hello, no I have not :) Some newbies do it and some folks who are just dropping by to ask a question or two seem fond of that approach as well. I think it sounds odd.

I never start questions with hello. I personally don't like it, because it detracts from the question itself. I like to get to the point quickley (although I don't in real life).
