  • I personally only buy Head racquets. I feel that they balance well in my hands and feel comfortable. The most widely used raquet of anyone I have every played is the Head xli.175. It costs around 90 bucks and is an all around racquet. Another reason I like head so well is that the weight of the raquet is used in the title of the raquet. They are weighed in grams. None of the other manufactures do that and you have to check the information to find the weights and sometimes its tough to find unless you are in a professional raquet store.
  • The technology gap is so small that the average person wanting a good racquet to play with could pick any brand and it would work for them... (getting one that isn't one of those starter type racquets) The best racquet for a player is the one they feel comfortable playing with... I know guys who still use the really old racquets and still can whip people's butts...
  • I like Wilson racquets I have a Head racquet and it is a good racquet. The factory strings on head racquets tend to separate (move around) after playing with them for a while. They also break easy. I do agree that 175g is a good weight for a racquet.
