Yes...I've already gotten away with at least 3 crimes that I learned from CSI. It's very informative.

No, there have been a couple cases of "copycat" crimes but I don't think most crimes are very influenced by the crazy hijinks on those programs.

I have often thought that I am sure the shows put ideas in peoples heads that are all ready demented. I am sure that it helps people cover their tracks when committing crimes.

I watch these in the UK and really laugh when I see that everyone rallies around and within a short time dna is through and the wonderful peeps of the csi go out and solve things. It's not real life, we are talking months/years in some cases, wouldn't it be nice if cases COULD be solved like this, alas, it's fiction but maybe in the future.....? :o)
