the stars are for the quality of the ball. 1 star is poor and 5 being very good.
1 star balls go for about 6 for 2.00
5 star balls go for about 6 for 18.00

I say that if you are just playing for fun go for 2 or 3 because they are cheap but still retain their quality.

If you play because you are serious and you want to get train go fro 4 star.
probally cause you wont be as rough because its not for fun.. you want to win.

The quality of the ball. One star is for practice or amateurs, while 3 star is usually a tournament quality ball.
