  • Unfortunately, it sounds like you're getting water in your oil. It may be a blown gasket. I hope not, tho'. When the water mixes with the oil, sometimes it makes a yellow "froth".
  • What engine do you have? You probably have a 3.7 V6. I know this engine has a part you can get at the dealership that will prevent this from happening. It just slides down in the oil filler neck opening. The problem they have has to do with condensation building up in the crankcase from short driving periods. I've seen many Chrysler-Dodge-Jeeps have this problem, but it doesn't do any harm, you just see it when you change the oil and most customers get worried. Like I said, if you want it to go away just get that part (they should know what you mean when you go in and ask). It sounds like you've checked out other possibilities which was smart, because pcv valves can cause this problem also. To make sure its not a serious problem, (like intake or head gaskets) make sure there is no antifreeze in the crankcase.
