There is no oil tank. The gearbox is filled with oil directly. If you mean the gas tank, they are constructed with durable steel, and will only explode in a violent collision, strong enough shred the entire bike and spill gasoline on the road. Like any other vehicle, gasoline on the road can catch fire. The sun's heat is tiny compared to the heat of the engine itself.
