They are in the process of coming down. I need my husband to help and he's at work.

Yep, we did it yesterday. We live in a small flat so needed the space the tree was taking up :)

Haha , i havent taken it down yet . as its me and my sister home alone for the next week or so. and i highly doubt we'll get around to it without my mother telling us to.
-
yeah. you know what's really great? if you don't put any of the damn things up, you don't have to take 'em down.

Never had any Christmas decorations....wait...I had Christmas cards hanging over our fireplace. Those are gone.
-
Took them all down on New Years. Luckily I didn't have many.

Well, I finally took down my tree, including all the little individually placed pieces of tinsel sprinkled here and there, the balls with the opaque, shimmering sequins on them, and the lightly tinted aquamarine-colored balls hanging gracefully from the still nimble branches. The lights kept trying to crawl toward the trunk so that I couldn't immediately see and grab them. They made me chase them 'round and 'round the tree but I finally wound them tightly into a circle and they looked up at me with their questioning heads . . . as if they'd served me faithfully for weeks and now I'm sentencing them to captivity for the next 11 months for no rule they'd violated . . . no crime they'd committed . . . other than to make my Christmas tree look like something Tim Burton had decorated . .. . . . (THEY WERE WHITE LED LIGHTS . . . that I hadn't noticed/didn't know when I bought them.) Off to the attic with all of you!!!!
