  • That would seem to part of the definition of love, but not completely the definition. I think it depends upon the intelligence of the person. Those of higher intelligence are not likely to be so blinded. Those who are desperate are more likely to be so. I hope that makes sense.
  • Depends how infatuated and insecure you are... some people just are too afraid to leave a relationship when their life would obviously be better if they moved on.
  • It most certainly can and does. Every little introspective path you carry, that individual tends to flood it, becoming a clouded road from your perception. It tends to carry through work, home, leisure, and any other event that is not traumatic. This carries you far out of reason. No matter how deep you go in new and different approaches, that individual tends to flood in there with your progress. It is like a fine structured poison.
  • Foolish love does.
  • Oh yes it sure can , I've put myself through it more than I can say -- + 5
  • on occassion it can (particularly when it is a 'first love' because normally, you are young when it happens. Perhaps a better way to look at it is: There are none so blind as those who do not want to see. Are you in love then?
  • YES, but it is now a days , more INFATUATION than LOVE. Love grows, infatuation burns out..... It is not that they are BLIND to the truth, they just don't want to face the truth, so they just keep trying, it is easier that way!
  • I think what happens most of the time is we fall in love with who we either think that person is or who we wish they were or who we think they have the potential to be. I know I made that mistake anyway. It is best to fall for someone who already has the attributes we want in a S/O while of course realizing and accepting no one will be perfect.
  • Only if I put on my rose colored glasses.
  • yeah it rlly can. ive gone through it a lot. i'de be rlly into this guy and somehow i didnt what to here the flause or the rlly truth about them from friends and i was blinded by the rest of the world but him.
