From personal experience only, there are varying degrees for me. I asked the same question before I started having sex, and in truth I was but they were really weak orgasms. Now I will usually get a major orgasm and a lot of little ones (or if my boyfriend is being absolutely magical with his equipment I'll get lots of major orgasms and not be able to get to my feet for an hour or two). you don't have control of your body for as long as the orgasm lasts. it builds and builds until it takes over and everything feels good. personally, i describe it as an on-coming wave you may be VERY sensitive afterwards, everywhere.
