I have a 1985 chevy silverado 305, I've rebuit the dist. and it ran great for a couple of months. Now I have no spark to plugs. I have proper voltage to the HEI, could this be a problem with the computer control module in the dash?

I was told this the other day by an expert mechanic.

Everything in Chevrolet and GM products, operates through instruments...........

The onboard computer and the speedometer.

You might need to check out both.
