Western states, especially British Columbia, top to bottom. Vancouver Island is beautiful. And don't miss the national parks along the border between BC and Alberta like Jasper and Banff. Awesome scenery. Vancouver is a great city. The northern parts are wild and scenic. Great hot springs, volcanoes, forests, rivers, waterfalls, islands, people:-)

There are many different regions. I would recommend doing the Quebec City to Niagara region first. Starting in Quebec City or maybe even Tadoussac if you want to see the whales (in the summer), down through Montreal, over to Ottawa, then down through Kingston to Toronto and finally to the Niagara region to see the falls and the wineries. That's not to say anything about any other region. Other good choices might be a visit to the Maritimes including some time in Cape Breton and Prince Edward Island. Or maybe a visit to Alberta with Banff and Jasper National Parks. Or even a beautiful trip around BC and it's natural wonders. There are so many good things to see in Canada, you can visit time and time again without ever having to see the same thing.

I'm not really a big traveler, but I have heard that Prince Edward Island is a great place. Niagara Falls is also pretty popular. If you like skating on canals, you could also try Ottawa and skate on the longest skating rink in the world in the winter. I recommend this during Winterlude. :)

I would suggest Cape Breton Island in the east. It is wonderful. Rugged and remote and quiet and beautiful and just an amazing place to visit

Montreal is the best forget about the rest. we have beautifull mountains in the summer, we have Mont Tremblant ski mountains in the summer, we have lots of great places you can spend your time.
-
Vancouver island. Drive up to Ucluelet and Tofino and take a boat around the broken Island group.

I recommend that you should visit the maritime provinces. Nova scotia ,PEI,Newbrunswick, and Newfoundland. Here in the east we offer friendly people, great seafood, there's nothing like a lobster dinner after a day at the beach. Speaking of beaches,.we have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. And scenery, well we have that also. You haven't explored Canada ,until you've driven the famous Cabot Trail in Cape Breton ,Nova Scotia, or Peggie's Cove , in Nova Scotia. All natural beauty at it's finest. Come, see for yourself, I guarentee you'll love it here.
