How do you admit to a teacher that when you are having a hard time understanding something you stop paying attention to it and distract yourself in other ways without sounding stupid? >.<

Don't tell her you distract yourself and you don't try to pay attention, just say that you don't understand something. =]

You're not alone on that one. Most people, myself included, lose interest when bored. Just explain to the teacher you're having a hard time understanding exactly what he/she's saying and to maybe explain it in a clearer way. I've had to do that before--tell people something like "Eh, didn't get any of that..could you explain"? Not a big deal..

When my grandson had that problem, we hired a tutor for him. Maybe something like that would work for your.

after class go to the teacher and ask for help! i do that all the time if i dont get something then she or he will go over it.
