Vegans do NOT eat animal products - your recipe is only good if you want to to be cruel and cause distress to vegans. Why put "vegan" if it's got an animal product in it? Again, vegans do not eat animal products - ANY animal products. So that's meat (pork, fish, etc.), dairy (milk, lactose, etc.), eggs, honey, or any other animal product. YOUR CAKE IS NOT VEGAN AT ALL. Lying to vegans whilst feeding them animal products is frankly sick.

Just substitute soy eggs and soy milk where it calls for them in the cake recipe. An extra dash of vanilla helps sometimes.
