i use black and white language,i'm retro ;)

I'm willing to say pretty much anything I like but without sounding rude or obnoxious. If I'm pissed off, I'll swear, simple as that. I'd do it in real life, and i'll do it online too.

In my answers, I always try to make the most of the on color words that are available to us. Many off color words are inserted in places where they just become clichés or even non-sequitur. I did recently post about an answer being (not nice), but that is as far as I will go.

As long as it fits the situation than I'll say it. I really don't see any reason not to, I never got the point of a word being "bad" anyway.

I will say anything I want when I want. Don't give a damn what people think. If they don't like it, then they shouldn't read it.

I m willing to get quite colorful, though I usually do do do so gratuitously. There is a LOT of truth the old old saying, "Curse like a sailor", and I am sure M4L has heard quite an earful. I cannot disagree with him strongly enough though. I find that the amount of profanity in a given statement has little to do with the intelligence of the person speaking/writing. In fact, I think that people like that are more interested in finding reasons to discredit others out of a sense of either insecurity or superiority, and may well have zero interest in the topic at hand. The narrowing of focus on the obscenity tells me that you are distractable and/or that the conversation has gone above your head and you are looking for a way out. However, those that go out of their way to swear (mostly teens) are just trying to sound tough; I DO agree with M4L there. Those people are not to be taken seriously. Normally, I only censor myself if I am dealing with someone I know would be shocked/offended by me speaking naturally AND I actually care. There is one thing I have posted on AB that I will NOT post the English translation of, and you can view that here. http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/143411

Good grief, where has all the common sense gone? I fail to understand how not using "off color" language and/or being civilized is a way a users honesty is measured. Or confidence for that matter. I also believe it is entirely possible to have a decent heart AND mouth. Then again, I CAN walk and chew gum at the same time. I also do not believe that the use "off color" language indicates that a person is or is not intelligent. Queen Elizabeth I apparently had a penchant for swearing and she was certainly not lacking intelligence. The if you don't like it, don't read it attitude is somewhat unfair. That is a two way street. For those who do not embrace censorship, which I am one. . .if you don't like a censored answer then don't read it. AB doesn't have filters that display "clean" and "explicit" versions of answers (hmmmm, maybe that would be worth looking into). As for my own use of "off color" language, I go the f**k route and try my best to be tactful. I am certainly not lacking intelligence OR confidence. I do so, because AB has a wide range of users, which comes with a wide range of sensitivities. I also do it because it is considerate of others. Simple.

I'm willing to Insinuate, but not actually spell it out. I have no idea who will read my stuff, and it could be a kid. Although many kids could teach me a thing or two, I still feel I’m a grown up and I don’t want to reinforce off color behavior.

I apply the same logic to "Off Colour" language as I do to the rest of my vocabulary: When I think the use of a particular word adds something to what I'm saying without taking anything large away from it, then I'll bloody well use it. Another thing that goes into my decisions about word use is whether I'm "Writing" or "Talking". When I'm "Writing" an answer, I simply stick to my own judgment (As laid out in paragraph one of this answer), however, if I'm "Talking" to just one or two people via comment, then I take into account the particular audience I'm speaking to, and try to use words that will convey my message best to their particular perspective. If I think that the audience I'm trying to communicate with is closed-minded enough that profanity would automatically cause them to ignore what I'm actually saying, then I'll take that into account and tone down my language. Whereas if I have reason to believe that I'm dealing with a more intellectual, open-minded person who can handle it, then I'll just use whatever language I see fit to get my message across. And probably needless to say, I rarely if ever use profanity just for the impact or as an insult.
