  • Wobbles as in when you are braking? If that's the case, the normal cause is someone over-tightening the lug nuts, warping the rotor. The only real fix for it is to put it on a brake lathe and re-turn it until it's straight again. If it's too thin, then you would have to replace it. This can also be caused by overheating (riding brakes, or excessive use), but I suspect the air hammer that most shops use to put on tires far exceeds the manufacturer's specifications on torque values for the lug nuts, thus causing these types of problems.
  • You might want to reconsider this rotor for safety sake. When you apply the brakes, is this the time you notice the wobbling? If so, you might be dealing with a brake safety issue and should have it throrough checked out. Had this same problem. had to replace both front rotors. Brakes are serious business on your vehicle. Have a qualified mechanic check it out.
