  • I think so. I think she just uses session musicians to do the albums now, and tours with whomever she doesn't hate at the moment.
  • It seems Amy Lee has issues- replacing one or two band members ok... but driving the whole band away is...well...hmmm. I feel it would have better if in the beginning Amy went solo and let Ben Moody take the band. Perhaps we'd all have seen Ben Moody, David Hodges, John LeCompt, Rocky Gray and Will Boyd in better days. All these former band members were personal friends of Amy's. Should I dare say Amy Lee is a "sell-out"? Both Ben Moody and David Hodges have continued to be successful writing with various artist as Celin Dion, Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavgine...etc. Former members of two successful previous bands (Living Sacrifice and Soul Embraced), John LeCompt and Rock Gray may stay together with their music. It will be intresting to see how the band sounds now with Amy Lee and a few add-ons. I guess good luck to all- to each their own.
  • Amy Lee is the only original member, but this does not mean Evaenscence are not still making music. Terry Balsamo actually writes the songs with her, and is therefore not just being "employed" to help her out. He is her writing partner and guitarist and friend. They're releasing a new album next year, and Ben Moody, John Le Compt and Rocky Gray have started a new band called "We Are the Fallen". If you ask me, they're the sell-outs, as they have purposely made their name resemble Evanescence's debut album. They are simply trying to get some of Evanescence's fame to rub off on them. So yes, Amy Lee may be the only original member, but she has proven that she is an excellent songwriter with Terry Balsamo.
  • Many are the ways a singer is the band. She is fame-maddened, and lost to her id.
  • I thought she was, but im really confused now, cos my friend told me yesterday that theyd all deserted her!
