  • Leg lifts and sit-ups. Sorry, there are no "quick and easy" exercizes with "fast results" to develop or tone any muscle. "No pain, no gain". That is the rule. Nobody invented it. Your muscles invented it. Steroids won't do it, either. Even using steroids requires busting your gut as well if you want results. And steroids are dangerous. They can hurt your heart.
  • Starvation
  • you wantt to improve your abs. here is a secret. any exercise that is performed at peak levels such as spring, running long distances, jump rope, crunches, swimming, sports, etc. if you exercise a lot and regularly then you will lose weight, your abs will be there. the exception is you are skinny, then focusing on abs is beneficial in that case check out pillates or core workouts.
  • If you mean work as in 'strengthen', then exercise like flutter kicks, leg raises, and full range sit ups. If you want to add definition, you need to remove body fat. You do this by exercise (cardio and weight), and more importantly, by having a good diet, with a calorie deficit (eat less calories than you need). Works for me, I do it without failure every year. I spend most of the year either maintaining, or gaining weight, and then towards summer, I little strip fat.
  • Crunches, leglifts & more crunches & more leglifts. If that doesn't do it, start dieting.
  • Just because I've seen so many people suggest this, leg lifts will only effectively strengthen your abs if your abs are alreasy strong enough to maintain a flat back while you do them. Otherwise, you're primarily strengthening your hip flexors. Also be careful doing leg lifts if you have any preexisting back problems!
  • that balance board on a roller is supposed to be good for the core group and your abs.
  • you could do the plank exercise
