Without a prescription, it would be more difficult, However, the best advice is to: - Cleanse your skin twice a day (Morning and evening). Use a cleanser for oily or combination skin. If your skin is really greasy, resist temptation to clean it more often, as this will just make your skin produce more sebum, which helps to cause the spots. -After cleansing, use a toner such as one for oily skin, or for sensitive skin. Apply it with cotton wool balls. -After cleansing, apply a moisturiser, again, usually one for oily or combination skin. Try a pore minimising lotion, such as the one Clinique sells. One huge mistake acne sufferers make is that they think because their skin is so oily it doesn't need to be moistureised. It does! I suffer from acne, but after having a really dry patch of skin on the side of my face for months, I finally got fed up and applied a really thick moisturiser (Elizabeth Ardens 8hr cream) all over my face. I applied it at night time, and over a week of using it, it helped all my acne so much. Now you can hardly see my spots at all! I'd use that tip with caution though, because I use Adapalene cream and take Trimethoprim, whilst being under the care of a dermatologist, and the latter mentioned cream and medication are only available on prescription.

a couple of things that sound weird but might work. Wash with Lava soap then use antiperspirant on your acne. Lava is an exfoliant and antiperspirant dries it out.
