it depends on whether you makes some stops or not but it can take as short as 5-6 hours and as long as 13 hours or more.

5ish hours depending on where you depart from

On a non-stop flight, it would be between seven and eight hours in the air.

I don't know. I flew from New York to San Francisco a few years back and it took near 7 hours to get there. On the way back it only took about 4 and a half to 5 hours.

My arms get tired after about an hour and so I stop. Took me several days.

Nonstop flight from Los Angeles to JFK will be about 4 hours and 35 minutes from take-off to landing (plus additional 30+ or so minutes for taxi out to runway and taxi-in to gate depending ofcourse on traffic congestion and weather). Return flight from JFK to Los Angeles will be about 5 hours and 50 minutes in the air plus additional time for taxi in and taxi out. The flight time will also be affected by head wind, tail wind, alternate route to avoid bad weather, etc.

As short as 4 hours going at Mach .92 (Citation X). Maybe between 5 and 6 if flying commercially.

Like 4.5 hours, but it takes like 5.5 hours going the other way(New York to California). Don't ask me why.
