  • I would think so. Years ago some friends and I used a dune buggy with a Volkswagen frame for the Baja 1,000. We put in a blueprinted Chevy 350 engine in the trunk in the front and ran a drive shaft to the rear. People thought we were crazy but we actually finished the race, which is quite an accomplishment. It just goes to show that you can modify any kind of vehicle in many different configurations.
  • Yes. If the engine bolts to the transmission and the mounts line up, it doesn't matter which end the engine is on or which wheels are driven.
