That would be a disaster! He's a baby, he'd better be freaking brilliant. The sad thing is, it doesn't matter if he could lead or not, if he were elected he would be guaranteed himself to some day suffer the same fate as his mother and the rest of his family.

It would just confirm the PPP as a family fief, which, to me, makes a mockery of democracy. Political parties should be groups of like-minded people, not followers of a particular family. Unfortunately this pattern has set in throughout the Indian subcontinent. I don't know what could be done about it, but I will not consider their democracies as working as long as they are dominated by hereditary rulers, even if those rulers are elected. (And the Bush/Clinton family fiefs are worrying, too).

I think it depends entirely on his disposition. I know some 60 year olds that still behave like they are 7.
