I highly recommend www.launch.com. I think it redirects you to yahoo music, and you can build a radio station. I found a ton of new music this way. If you don't pay, you have to put up with commercials...but I don't mind it b/c the music played tends to be worth it!

Go through the archives of previous broadcasts of the show "All Songs Considered" at www.npr.org You'll find lots of absolutely incredible music that you never suspected even existed.
