A few years ago my mother sent us a huge basket that waw full of every kind of European chocolate, every shape and flavor and country. What a treat that was. We really paced ourselves and made it last for a long time:-)

what chocolate experience ISN'T the best? well, I'd have to say a special one was when my mom and I were in San Francisco and we went to Ghiradelli's and had their ice cream. oooh, that was so good! we also bought some of the Ghiradelli squares and hot cocoa mix to take home.

I was having fondue for desert in a restaurant. I took a bit of a brownie dipped in chocolate and nearly had an orgasmic experience. I have never been able to recreate that reaction. Too bad.
